Built by people who ran too many vendor portals
Anon started in 2025 because our founding team kept seeing the same situation: operations professionals running the same browser steps every morning, across portals that would never get APIs. We built the tool we wanted to hand them.
Every workflow a human can run in a browser, an agent should handle
Copying data from a vendor invoicing portal into an ERP. Submitting compliance filings to a government system. Pulling delivery confirmations from a logistics dashboard. These workflows are well-defined, repeatable, and they land on the same person every day.
Anon is built on one position: if a human can complete a workflow inside a browser, an authenticated, reliable, auditable agent should handle it instead. Not a fragile scraper. Not an RPA macro that breaks on every UI update. A persistent browser session that logs in, navigates the actual portal, and hands back a structured result.
We are a small focused team in Seattle. We built Anon because we wanted operations teams to spend their time on things that actually need judgment, not on the same browser steps every morning.
The people building Anon
Background in B2B SaaS growth and workflow tooling. Spent years embedded with operations teams studying how they navigate vendor portals, procurement systems, and the manual handoffs in between. The company formed around that observation.
Spent years building scraping and session pipeline infrastructure for data teams that needed authenticated access to web-based systems. Focused on the distributed systems layer that keeps browser sessions alive under load.
Product background in workflow tooling for mid-market operations teams. Shaped how Anon approaches workflow definition, run scheduling, and the feedback loop when something fails mid-execution.
Works at the Playwright and Puppeteer level. Focuses on session management, credential isolation, and the reliability layer that keeps authenticated workflows running when portals change their login flows.
